Balance Partners, LLC is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Technical Assistant to join our growing administration and operations teams. In this role, you'll be a key player in supporting our underwriting and service teams, helping us deliver excellent customer service to our clients.
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with comprehensive benefits eligibility.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Learn and manage the end-to-end process for all lines of business. This includes preparing and recording information to clear, bind, invoice, issue, and endorse accounts.
· Handle a wide range of client requests, including those for policies, endorsements, cancellations, and loss runs.
· Learn and follow existing workflow and documentation protocols and assist in creating new procedures for future lines of business.
· Provide technical and administrative assistance to the underwriting team, ensuring all tasks are completed timely, accurately, and efficiently.
· Serve as the first point of contact for routine client inquiries, effectively triage requests and direct more complex issues to the appropriate team member.
· Participate in the testing and implementation of new software or system updates.
· Perform all duties with a high level of attention to detail to prevent errors and omissions.
· Pursue a program of personal and professional development to stay current in the industry.
· Maintain a professional and positive attitude, consistently demonstrating a team-oriented approach.
· Participate in special projects and other assignments as directed by management.
Required Qualifications:
· 1-3 years of experience in the insurance industry is preferred, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in an office environment.
· Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Previous experience using an Insurance Management System (IMS) is highly desirable.
· Must be an enthusiastic team player with an extremely high level of diligence and a commitment to personal and professional growth.
