Anthony Simone

Lead Underwriter

Anthony has over 28 years of experience in the insurance industry, specializing in E&S commercial property and Wind Deductible Buy Back business. Prior to joining Balance, Anthony served as EVP and Senior Property Underwriter at WKFC Underwriting Managers from 1995 – 2018. Prior to that, Anthony held specialty property underwriting positions at both Reliance National Insurance Company and The Home Insurance Company. At Balance Partners, Anthony’s deep rooted distribution relationships and undeniable expertise in both the E&S property and WDBB marketplace are critical to the buildout of our property products and we are elated to have him lead this division and be an integral part of our growing team.

Geoff Ducksworth

Underwriter

Geoff has 12 years of insurance industry experience, concentrating on E&S commercial property, Wind Deductible Buy Back business, E&S commercial casualty and personal lines. He maintains strategic relationships in the northeast, southeast and west coast E&S markets. Prior to Balance Partners, Geoff has held positions with RSGUM, Zurich NA, USAA and Farmers Insurance. Having joined Balance Partners Mid 2020, his caliber of experience and hard charging nature comes at the optimal time and makes him an ideal underwriter for this team.

Justin Yacono

Underwriter

Justin Yacono has over 9 years of experience writing multiple lines of coverage. His Reputation and proven track record in this space is exemplary. Justin began his career working as an Underwriters Assistant at Global Excess Partners. He then joined WKFC Underwriting Managers leading the flood facility for the next 6 years. Justin joined Balance Partners in 2021 with the goal of building out one of the nation’s largest and most meaningful X/S Flood programs in addition to contributing to our Property and Wind Deductible Buy Back divisions.
