Anthony Simone

Lead Underwriter

Anthony has over 28 years of experience in the insurance industry, specializing in E&S commercial property and Wind Deductible Buy Back business. Prior to joining Balance, Anthony served as EVP and Senior Property Underwriter at WKFC Underwriting Managers from 1995 – 2018. Prior to that, Anthony held specialty property underwriting positions at both Reliance National Insurance Company and The Home Insurance Company. At Balance Partners, Anthony’s deep rooted distribution relationships and undeniable expertise in both the E&S property and WDBB marketplace are critical to the buildout of our property products and we are elated to have him lead this division and be an integral part of our growing team.

Geoff Ducksworth


Geoff has 12 years of insurance industry experience, concentrating on E&S commercial property, Wind Deductible Buy Back business, E&S commercial casualty and personal lines. He maintains strategic relationships in the northeast, southeast and west coast E&S markets. Prior to Balance Partners, Geoff has held positions with RSGUM, Zurich NA, USAA and Farmers Insurance. Having joined Balance Partners Mid 2020, his caliber of experience and hard charging nature comes at the optimal time and makes him an ideal underwriter for this team.

Jimmy Collyer, CPCU


Jimmy has 6 years of insurance experience, specializing in Northeast E&S Property & Casualty with some exposure to Inland Marine, Professional lines and claims handling. Previously working as a wholesale broker, Jimmy has in-depth knowledge of the Northeast E&S market trends. Jimmy also boasts several industry designations including the CPCU. Prior to joining Balance Partners, Jimmy held positions with Scottish American and Allstate.

Justin Yacono


Justin Yacono has over 9 years of experience writing multiple lines of coverage. His Reputation and proven track record in this space is exemplary. Justin began his career working as an Underwriters Assistant at Global Excess Partners. He then joined WKFC Underwriting Managers leading the flood facility for the next 6 years. Justin joined Balance Partners in 2021 with the goal of building out one of the nation’s largest and most meaningful X/S Flood programs in addition to contributing to our Property and Wind Deductible Buy Back divisions.

Bianca Morales


After graduating from Adelphi University in 2012, Bianca started her insurance career in the E&S wholesale property space, and has now amassed 10+ years in the industry. After starting her career in 2012 in a commercial lines marketing role at Insight Companies, she established her underwriting career by focusing on high hazard industrial property at Hanover Specialty Industrial Property from 2014-2018, before making the transition to the MGA side underwriting Habitational and Commercial Property at WKFC Underwriting Managers until 2020. Most recently, she explored the E&S Wholesale side for two years with CRC Group. At CRC Group, Bianca focused solely on strategically placing E&S property business. Her time at CRC Group allowed her to gain a solid understanding of the current property market and conditions we know today.

Christina Caputo


Christina has 22 years of insurance industry experience specializing in E&S commercial property both on the carrier and wholesale brokerage side. She began her career in 2000 at Buckingham Badler Associates, with roles in the commercial division for E&S risks, starting in wholesaler brokerage and then graduating into an underwriting role for the MGA division of their operation. In 2008, after developing her underwriting skills, Christina moved to GNY where she worked in an underwriting capacity for standard market business as well as taking on responsibilities within the internal audit unit. In 2009 Christina returned to the E&S world via Beazley, where she managed all risk, inland marine and DIC surplus lines accounts. Christina has been active within industry trade associations such as the New York Young Insurance Professionals, Council of Insurance Brokers of Greater New York, and Professional Insurance Wholesalers Associations.

Tom Hagan


Tom, a graduate of Samford University, has 3 years’ experience in the E&S space. Starting as an Underwriting Assistant at AmWINS’ SRU, working on the Builders Risk team, and joining BP in April of 2022. Tom works as an Associate Underwriter on BP’s Property and Wind Deductible Buyback programs.”
