OUR TEAM

JOSEPH PARTENZA

Head of Inland Marine

Joseph is the originating member of the IMpulse team, and brings with him over 20 years’ experience in the insurance sector. Most recently he was Senior Vice President, U.S. Marine Insurance, at Aspen Insurance Co. Formed in 2010, Joseph was a founding member of the U.S. Marine Insurance Department at Aspen. 

Before Aspen, Joseph held various positions in Property and Inland Marine Underwriting along with Professional Liability Claims and Reinsurance at One Beacon and AIG.

BEN LEE

Lead Fine Art Underwriter

Ben joined Balance Partners in 2022 to lead IMPulse Fine Art after spending nearly three years at a successful Insurtech MGA, where he led Marine distribution. He eagerly returns to his underwriting roots, as he previously underwrote Fine Art and other Inland Marine lines at Aspen Insurance Group.

 

Prior to insurance, Ben graduated from the University of Arizona and was a member of the Wildcats' Division I tennis team. He was an Assistant Tennis Coach for New York University’s Men’s & Women’s tennis teams in his early career.
